the humidifier is equipped with a mat to insert scented drops, but although I have purchased very very fragrant essential oils, the perfume does not spread around the environment at all. It would be very effective if you could put a few drops in the water which then evaporates but the booklet says not to. If the utrasuoni mechanism is the same used for example in another product (eg PURAE), could essential oil be added to the tank? thank you
