WERKING - Algemeen

Het apparaat is alleen bedoeld voor

WERKING - Voor het eerste gebruik

Gebruik het apparaat eerst een paar keer met alleen water om binnenin te reinigen. Volg hiervoor de

gebruiksinstructies hieronder. Gooi na afloop het water weg.

WERKING - Gebruik

1. Zet het apparaat op een vlakke stevige ondergrond. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact. Zorg ervoor

dat de aan/uit-schakelaar (8) in stand ‘O’ (uit) staat (controlelampje uit).

2. Klap de filterkap (4) van het waterreservoir (5) open. Giet de gewenste hoeveelheid water in het

reservoir (niet minder dan 2 of meer dan 10 kopjes, zoals aangegeven op de waterniveau-aanduiding (6)).

3. Gebruik de permanentfilter (1) of plaats een papieren filter (1 x 4) in de filterhouder (3). Vul het filter

met de gewenste hoeveelheid gemalen koffie.

4. Sluit de filterkap.

5. Plaats de thermokan (2) op het platform (9).

6. Zet het apparaat aan (aan/uit-schakelaar in de stand ‘1’: controlelampje aan). De koffie wordt gezet.

7. Dankzij de druppelstop kunt u tussentijds even een kopje koffie inschenken. Zet de kan snel terug om

overlopen van het filter te voorkomen.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

1. Zorg dat het apparaat uit staat (aan/uit-schakelaar in de stand ‘O’: controlelampje uit).

2. Neem de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat zonodig afkoelen.

3. Gooi het eventueel nog aanwezige papieren filterzakje weg. Neem de filterhouder uit de behuizing

en reinig hem onder stromend water. Let bij het terugplaatsen op de druppelstop: deze moet door

de uitsparing in de filterbehuizing steken.

4. Reinig de kan met warm water met afwasmiddel of in de vaatwasmachine.

5. Reinig het apparaat aan de buitenkant met een vochtige doek. Zorg ervoor dat er geen vocht

binnenin het apparaat komt.

• Dompel het apparaat, de stekker en het snoer nooit onder in water. Zet het apparaat nooit in een

afwasmachine. Alleen de losse onderdelen mogen worden ondergedompeld in water.

• Gebruik geen agressieve of schurende schoonmaakmiddelen of scherpe voorwerpen (zoals

messen of harde borstels) bij het reinigen.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD - Ontkalken

Ketelsteen kan ervoor zorgen dat de prestaties van het apparaat verminderen. In gebieden met hard water

komt ketelsteen vaak voor. Wij raden u aan een geschikt ontkalkingsmiddel te gebruiken als er ketelsteen

ontstaat. Volg altijd de instructies bij het ontkalkingsmiddel op. De vorming van ketelsteen wordt minder als

u een waterzuiveringstoestel gebruikt.
