b) AlwaysturnhoodONwhencookingathighheatorwhenambeingfood(i.e.CrepesSuzette,

CherriesJubilee,PeppercornBeefFlambé).

c) Cleanventilatingfansfrequently.Greaseshouldnotbeallowedtoaccumulateonfanorlter.

d)Useproperpansize.Alwaysusecookwareappropriateforthesizeofthesurfaceelement.

d) UseanextinguisherONLYif:

1. YouknowyouhaveaClassABCextinguisher,andyoualreadyknowhowtooperateit.

2. Thereissmallandcontainedintheareawhereitstarted.

3. Theredepartmentisbeingcalled.

4. Youcanghttherewithyourbacktoanexit.

ConditioningEngineers(ASHRAE),andthelocalcodeauthorities.

3. Whencuttingordrillingintowallorceiling,donotdamageelectricalwiringandotherhidden

utilities.

4. Ducted fans must always be vented to the outdoors.
