First of all, thank you for choosing the BÉABA touch-free infrared
thermometer. Please read these instructions carefully before using the
product.
This medical thermometer is designed mainly to measure body temperature
instantly and without contact. It provides a quick and reliable temperature
reading. It also measures room temperature and the temperature of food,
feeding bottles, bath water, bedrooms, etc.

THERMOMETER’S FUNCTIONS
1. Instant (1 second) touch-free body temperature reading
2. Temperature readings for food, feeding bottles, bath water, bedrooms,
etc.
3. Alarm to notify a temperature reading over 38°C
4. Backlit LCD digital screen
5. Memorisation of the 19 previous readings
6. Measurements in Celsius or Fahrenheit
7. Automatic switch-off
USING YOUR THERMOMETER
• It is recommended that you leave the infrared thermometer without
touching it, at room temperature 20 to 30 minutes before using it.
• There may be differences in temperature readings according to skin type.
• Leave for one minute before using again
• Before measuring temperature, make sure the hair removed, sweat dried.
1. INSERTING THE BATTERIES
- Open the battery compartment and insert the batteries. Switch on by
pressing the power button

2. BODY TEMPERATURE READINGS
- Press the
/ button to select body temperature. The icon
appears on the thermometer’s screen.
- When taking body temperature readings, maintain a distance of 2-8 cm
from the person.
- Press the
button to take the temperature, release the button. The
reading has been taken when the «sound signal» is heard. The screen
changes colour according to the temperature.
3. ROOM TEMPERATURE READINGS
- Press the
/ button to switch to room temperature. The
symbol appears on your thermometer’s screen.
- Press the
button to take the temperature, release the button. The
reading has been taken when the «sound signal» is heard.
4. MEASUREMENTS IN CELSIUS OR FAHRENHEIT
- To choose Celsius (C°) or Fahrenheit (F°) mode, open the battery
compartment.
- The symbol °C or °F appears alongside the numbers.
