REARMING BALTIC AUTOMATIC VERSION
1. Unscrew the used cartridge anticlockwise

, and check that the new cartridge is active by
ensuring that the green safety indicator

is still in place. Follow the illustrated instructions
on the label by the inflation mechanism. Replace the cartridge if it has been activated or if it has
passed its expiry date

, which is stamped on the side of the cartridge. For example, 02
2015 means it must be replaced before February 2015.
2. Refit the examined cartridge if ok if not screw in a new cartridge clockwise and tighten it by hand
until no threads are visible.
3. Unscrew the CO
2
cylinder anticlockwise. Discard the cylinder in an environmentally friendly
manner. Check that the lever and the pin (visible at the bottom of the valve head next to the CO
2
cylinder’s fastening)

can move freely, by pulling on the activating cord. Push the lever
back in to the normal position and secure it with a new green safety indicator

4. Visually check that the O-ring in the bottom of the valve head, next to the CO
2
cylinder’s fastening,
is undamaged

5. Screw in a new, clean and unpierced CO
2
cylinder using only hand force until absolutely tight.
Use no tools.
REARMING BALTIC MANUAL VERSION
1. Unscrew the CO
2
cylinder anticlockwise. Discard the cylinder in an environmentally friendly
manner. Check that the lever and the piercing pin (visible at the bottom of the thread for the CO
2
cylinder

can move freely, by pulling on the activating cord. Fold back the lever and secure
it by pressing it against the valve head until it clicks into place.
2. Visually check that the O-ring in the bottom of the valve head, next to the CO
2
cylinder’s fastening,
is undamaged

3. Screw in a new, clean and unpierced CO
2
cylinder using only hand force until absolutely tight.
Use no tools.
When the CO
2
cylinder is mounted correctly, the indicator window should be green.
REPACKING
BEFORE REPACKING
Follow these instructions carefully.
Repacking must be carried out with dry hands, in dry surroundings and without tools.
Place the inflatable lifejacket, back downwards, on a flat surface

Make sure the lifejacket is deflated and the mouth inflation tube’s cap is in the normal position
and the indicators show green

1. Release the zip slider by pulling it to the end of the longer zip

lifejacket. Pull the slider back clockwise, to the right hand side of the lifejacket.
2. Put the zip together like on a normal jacket

, and pull the slider anticlockwise round the
lifejacket, at the same time folding the lung according to the instructions below.
