The plug-in chain does not hold (can be easily pulled out even when it is closed). Does anyone have similar experience and know what to do?

same problem here; could it be that this part of the lock is broken?

impossible to remove the key when the lock is in the open position! Risk 1: in the event of a fall, the key can break with part of the key remaining in the lock which will therefore be unusable. Risk 2: a malicious person can close the lock and leave with the key,

unfortunately there is heavy pollution in bad weather. The bolt gets dirty through the overhead slot until it is blocked. M.E. design flaw.

Irrational design does not consider vandals who could lock bike and steal the key just for fun.

U-lock bad design. When the road is dirty, the tire conveys the dirt into the overhead slot and blocks it. Bad to clean. This causes the bolt to rust after a long period of time. Why not down the slot?

The lock is mounted and I want to replace it because the rod has to be pushed to the side every time to get into the other side. However, how to remove the lock is nowhere to be found. Don't think I will buy another AXA lock.

Just bought a ridgeback with an axa lock (key only removable when locked) . Leave the bike for 2 minutes unlocked to find it locked and the battery gone. (Same key) the lock has been binned.
