I have an A77 here with speakers on the sides. 2 speeds are indicated at the mains switch. 3 3/4 and 7 1/2. The monitor sk has 3 modes IEC input and NAB. Yet the speeds are instead of 3 3/4, 7 1/2 and for 7 1/2 it is 15. The diameter of the capstan shaft has a larger diameter than on my other A77. Could it be that the speeds were doubled by widening the axis by placing a tube over it? Can the tube be removed without damage?
