De SA-41 is een set rook + hittemelders voor het ontdekken van brand in de éérste fase. Bij

rook of hitteontwikkeling zal de SA-41 een luide alarmtoon van minimaal 85dB (A) geven.

Omdat de set gekoppeld is zullen alle melders binnen bereik een alarmtoon geven. Geadviseerd

wordt om elke week de rookmelders te testen mbv de test knop op de rookmelders. Bewaar deze

handleiding op een veilige plaats of in de meterkast.

AANBEVOLEN MONTAGE PLAATSEN VOOR DE SA-41:

• Monteer uw éérste rookmelder in de omgeving van de slaapkamers. Zorg ervoor dat er een

uitgang bereikbaar blijft of kies een vluchtroute. Plaats de melder op die plaats waarvan u denkt

dat een vluchtweg bereikbaar blijft.

• Maak gebruik van meerdere melders voor vergroting van de veiligheid en wel zo dat de vlucht-

weg toegankelijk blijft.

• Plaats minimaal op elke verdieping van uw woning een rookmelder.

• Plaats minimaal in elke slaapkamer waar gerookt wordt of waar apparatuur staat die eventueel-

brand zou kunnen veroorzaken een melder.

• Rook, hitte- en verbrandingsproducten zullen éérst omhoog naar het plafond trekken. Daarna

trekken de rook, hitte- en verbrandingsproducten horizontaal verder.

• Monteert u de melder aan het plafond, houd dan een minimale afstand van 50 cm van de muur

en 61 cm van een hoek aan. Rook, hitte en verbrandingsproducten zullen ook niet in een hoek

komen.

VERMIJD DE VOLGENDE PLAATSEN VOOR MONTAGE:

• In de keuken; stoom die vrij komt bij het koken zou een vals alarm kunnen geven.

• In de douche of badkamer; waterdamp kan voor een vals alarm zorgen.

• In de garage; dit vanwege eventuele uitlaatgassen uit de auto tijdens starten.

• Voor een ventilator of ventilator uitgang van airconditioning of verwarming.

• In de nok van een A-vormig plafond.

• In ruimtes waar de temperatuur lager kan worden dan -10°C of hoger dan 40°C.

• Verf de rookmelder niet en plak deze ook niet af.

INSTALLATIE INFORMATIE:

Plaats de plafondplaat op een geschikte plaats met behulp van pluggen en schroeven aan het pla-

fond of wand. Plaats de batterijen in de melder. Draai daarna de melder met de test toets naar u toe

op de plafondplaat. De melder is nu gereed voor gebruik.

Eventueel kunt de éérste test uitvoeren door 2 seconden op de test toets te drukken. zie ook kopje

“Testen”.

I have 5 detectors that should be connected wirelessly. Is it important how the detectors are interconnected ? The manual suggests that a pairing should only be done with devices that will not be more than 20 m apart. Is it best to choose one central device to wich all other connect, or is it better to create a daisy chain of connections ?

Where should I place my smoke detector? Verified

This depends on the situation, but in a home it is best to place at least one smoke detector on every floor. Try to place them in hallways or other spaces that connect different rooms and never place the smoke detector directly next to a kitchen or bathroom. Can I use candles if I have a smoke detector? Verified

This partially depends on the sensitivity of the smoke detector. In many cases a candle can be used as long as it is not placed in direct proximity of the smoke detector. When blowing out the candles, smoke can be generated that might trigger the smoke detector.
