D 5:

D 5 S:

Das D 5 von AKG ist ein dynamisches Richtmikro-

fon (Druckgradientenempfänger). Es wurde spe-

ziell als Gesangsmikrofon für den harten Bühnen-

einsatz entwickelt. Der weite Frequenzgang des

D 5 betont leicht die mittleren und hohen Frequen-

zen und gewährleistet dadurch auch eine gute

Sprachverständlichkeit. Durch seine supernieren-

förmige Richtcharakteristik ist das D 5 für Schall,

der von vorne einfällt, am empfindlichsten, wäh-

rend es auf von der Seite und hinten einfallenden

Schall kaum anspricht. Diese Richtcharakteristik

ist bei allen Frequenzen, also von den tiefsten bis

zu den höchsten Tönen, annähernd gleich ("fre-

quenzunabhängig").

Hand- und Kabelgeräusche werden durch die

elastische Lagerung des Wandlers weitgehend

unterdrückt. Der Innenwindschutz reduziert Pop-,

Wind- und Atemgeräusche auf ein Minimum.

Eine robuste, nahezu unverformbare Gitterkappe

aus Federstahl und das stabile Zink-Alu-

Druckgussgehäuse schützen das Mikrofon und

die Kapsel wirksam vor Beschädigungen im har-

ten Alltag "on the road".

Das D 5 S ist elektrisch, mechanisch und akus-

tisch identisch mit dem D 5, besitzt jedoch einen

knackfreien Ein/Ausschalter.
