Cleaning the motor ﬁlter and the dust con-

tainer ﬁlter

CycloneXL has a motor ﬁlter and a dust container

ﬁlter that should be cleaned now and then.

33 Open the front lid and lift out the dust con

tainer.

34 Dust container ﬁlter: Remove the ﬁlter holder

from the dust container and carefully pull the

dirty dust container ﬁlter out of the holder.

35 Motor ﬁlter: Pull the ﬁlter upwards until coming

away from the groove.

36 Rinse the ﬁlters in lukewarm water and let them

dry. Reattach the clean ﬁlters. Replace the dust

container and then close the lid.

Cleaning/replacing the exhaust ﬁlter*

There are three types of exhaust ﬁlter:

• Micro ﬁlter* (Ref. No. EF 17)

• Hepa H12* non washable (Ref. No. EF H12)

• Hepa H12* washable (can be bought as an option,

Ref. No. EF H12W)

The ﬁlters must always be replaced with new ones and

cannot be washed (except the Hepa H12* washable).

37 Open the back lid and lift out the ﬁlter.

38 Insert a new ﬁlter and close the lid.

Het motorﬁlter en het ﬁlter van het stofre-

servoir reinigen

De CycloneXL bevat een motorﬁlter en een ﬁlter voor

het stofreservoir die van tijd tot tijd moeten worden

gereinigd.

33 Open de voorklep en til het stofreservoir er uit.

34 Filter van het stofreservoir: verwijder de ﬁlter

houder uit het stofreservoir en trek het vuile

ﬁlter van het stofreservoir voorzichtig uit de

houder.

35 Motorﬁlter: trek het ﬁlter naar boven uit de

groef.

36 Spoel de ﬁlters schoon in lauw water en laat ze

drogen. Plaat de schone ﬁlters weer terug. Plaats

het stofreservoir terug en sluit vervolgens de

klep.

Het uitlaatﬁlter* reinigen/vervangen

Er zijn drie typen uitlaatﬁlters:

• Microﬁlter* (ref.nr. EF 17)

• Hepa H12*, niet uitwasbaar (ref.nr. EF H12)

• Hepa H12*, uitwasbaar (verkrijgbaar als optie, ref.

nr. EF H12W)

De ﬁlters moeten altijd door nieuwe worden vervan

gen en mogen niet worden gewassen (behalve het

uitwasbare Hepa H12*-ﬁlter).

37 Open de achterklep en til het ﬁlter uit de ﬁlter

houder.

38 Breng een nieuwe ﬁlter aan en sluit de klep.

støvbeholderen og træk forsigtigt det snavsede

rillen.

36 Rengør ﬁltrene i lunkent vand, og lad dem tørre.

Sæt de rene ﬁltre i igen. Sæt støvbeholderen på

plads, og luk låget.

Rengøring/udskiftning af udsugningsﬁltret*

Der er tre typer udblæsningsﬁlter:

• Micro ﬁlter* (Ref. No. EF 17)

• Hepa H12*, ikke vaskbart (ref. nr. EF H12)

• Hepa H12* washable (købes som tilbehør, Ref. No.

EF H12W)

Filtrene skal altid erstattes af nye og kan ikke vaskes

(undtagen Hepa H12* washable).

37 Åbn låget bagpå, og løft ﬁltret ud.

38 Sæt et nyt ﬁlter i, og luk dækslet.

rement ces ﬁltres.

33 Ouvrir le couvercle avant et soulever le récepta

cle à poussière.

34 Filtre du réceptacle à poussière : Enlever le

porte-ﬁltre du réceptacle à poussière et en

retirer avec précaution le ﬁltre sale.

35 Filtre moteur : Tirer le ﬁltre vers le haut pour le

dégager de son logement.

36 Rincer les ﬁltres à l’eau tiède, puis les laisser

sécher. Remettre en place les ﬁltres propres.

Remettre en place le réceptacle à poussière, puis

refermer le couvercle.

Nettoyer/remplacer le ﬁltre de sortie d’air*

Il existe trois types de ﬁltres de sortie d’air :

• Microﬁltre* (Réf. EF 17)

• Hepa H12* non lavable (Réf. EF H12)

• Hepa H12* lavable (disponible en option, Réf. EF

H12W)

Les ﬁltres doivent toujours être remplacés par des

ﬁltres neufs et ne peuvent pas être lavés (à l’exception

du Hepa H12* lavable).

Filter müssen stets gegen neue Filter ausgetauscht

werden und können – mit Ausnahme des

auswaschbaren Filters Hepa H12* – nicht gereinigt

werden.

37 Hintere Abdeckung öffnen und Filter herausneh

men.

38 Neuen Filter einlegen und Abdeckung schließen.

Can I use a regular vacuum cleaner to suck up ash? Verified

No, this is absolutely not possible. Ash that seems cooled may still be warm or even hot inside. A regular vacuum cleaner is not designed for this and it can cause a fire. Also, the filters of regular vacuum cleaners are not always suited for retaining extremely small particles such as ash. It can then reach the motor of the vacuum cleaner and cause damage.
