Funktionsbetrieb und Leistungsmerkmale

Der Rauchmelder arbeitet nach dem optischen Prinzip und besitzt eine

Messkammer, in der eindringende Rauchpartikel gemessen werden.

Wird die Alarmschwelle überschritten, ertönt ein lautstarker Alarm.

Der Alarm wird abgeschaltet, sobald die Messkammer wieder rauchfrei ist.

Was tun bei Auslösung eines Alarmtones

• Sofort die Wohnung verlassen! Jede Sekunde zählt, also keine Zeit

durch Ankleiden oder Mitnahme von Wertgegenständen verlieren.

Fluchtplan nutzen!

• Keine Türen öffnen ohne vorheriges Überprüfen der Oberfläche.

Ist diese heiß oder ist Rauch unter der Tür zu sehen, diese Tür nicht öffnen!

Alternativen Fluchtweg benutzen. Sollte die Oberfläche kühl sein,

Schulter dagegen pressen, Tür etwas öffnen und bereit sein,

Sind mehrere Schlafzimmer vorhanden, weitere Rauchmelder in jedem

Schlafraum anbringen.

• Um Flure zu überwachen, sollten auch dort Rauchmelder montiert werden,

denn besonders in Treppenaufgängen können leicht Brände entfacht werden

(Schornsteineffekt). Bei langen Fluren sind ggf. mehrere Melder erforderlich.

Der Abstand zwischen den Meldern sollte nicht größer als 8 m sein.

• Bei der Deckenmontage ist darauf zu achten, dass die Melder mindestens

15 cm von der Seitenwand und mindestens 50 cm von jeder Ecke enfernt sind.
