QUICKFIRE II

The QuickFire II thumb bar gives you the ability to control both

the spool and the clutch with your thumb alone. The natural

hand position puts your thumb right on the QuickFire II clutch

bar. Press the bar to disengage the spool for unparalleled

casting, then turn the crank to reengage gearing.

QUICKFIRE II

La barre QuickFire II vous offre la possibilité de contrôler à la

MAGNETIC/FRICTION ADJUSTMENTS

CAST CONTROLS

Gaining control over spool overruns, or "backlashes" is quite

easy (see diagram below). Overruns occurring near the

beginning of the cast are best controlled with either the

Shimano Variable Brake System or the magnetic cast control.

Overruns occurring at the end of the cast are best controlled

with the friction cast control.

COMMANDES DE LANCER

Acquérir le contrôle sur les fameuses "perruques" de fil est

très facile (voir diagramme ci-dessous). Les perruques de fil

qui se produisent au début du lancer seront aussi bien

contrôlées avec le Système de Frein Variable qu'avec le

contrôle magnétique de la bobine. Les perruques de fil qui se

produisent à la fin du lancer sont mieux contrôlées avec le

bouton de commande à lancer.

CONTROLES DE LANZAMIENTO

El controlar situaciones donde el carrete sobrepasa su límite,

también conocidas como "contragolpes" es bastante fácil (ver

el diagrama abajo). Si el carrete desborda su límite al

principio del lanzamiento, éste se controla mejor con el

Shimano Variable Brake System (Sistema de Freno Variable

Shimano) o con el control magnético de lanzamiento. Si el

carrete desborda su límite al finalizar el lanzamiento, éste se

controla mejor con el control de fricción del lanzamiento.

CAST CONTROL

The cast control knob is used to add the proper amount of

friction to the spool. Too much friction shortens the casting

distance, too little leaves overrun and backlash unchecked.

Turn the cast control knob clockwise to increase friction,

counter-clockwise to decrease friction. The proper setting will

vary with lure type and weight, and line weight.

COMMANDE DE LANCER

Le bouton de commande de lancer est utilisé pour ajouter la

friction nécessaire au tambour. En effet, si une friction

excessive réduit la distance du lancer, une friction trop

réduite peut en revanche laisser trop de mou. Tournez le

bouton de commande de lancer dans le sens des aiguilles

d'une montre pour augmenter la friction et dans le sens

inverse pour la diminuer. Les réglages dépendent du type

d'appât, des différents poids utilisés et de la capacité du

monofilament.

CONTROL DE LANZAMIENTO

La perilla de control de lanzamiento se utiliza para aumentar

la cantidad adecuada de fricción en el carrete. Demasiada

fricción disminuye la distancia del lanzamiento, y muy poca

fricción deja el desborde de límite y el contragolpe sin ser

chequeados. Haga girar la perilla de control de lanzamiento

en el sentido de las agujas del reloj para aumentar la fricción,

y en sentido contrario para disminuir la fricción. El ajuste

adecuado dependerá del tipo de carnada y su peso y del peso

de la línea.

SUPER STOPPER

Le Super Stopper anti-retour utilise un roulement a rouleaux

en acier inoxydable a un sens pour eliminer le jeu arriere de la

In addition, the CORIOLIS features Assist Stopper, a backup

anti-reverse pawl to ensure zero failures.

EASY MAG MAGNETIC CAST CONTROL

The EASY MAG magnetic cast control is designed to reduce

spool backlashes. When first using the reel, the magnetic

spool control should be set to mid-point and adjusted at any

time during use. The control is numerically calibrated, 10

being the maximum setting.

Le système magnétique de contrôle de lancer EASY MAG a

été conçu pour ralentir la bobine et diminuer le jeu comme le

fait le bouton de commande de lancer. La friction du système

mécanique est constante tandis que celle du système

magnétique augmente en relation avec la vitesse de la bobine.

Lorsque vous utilisez votre moulinet pour la première fois,

placez le réglage magnétique en position médiane et changez

sa position selon les besoins. Le bouton de réglage est calibré

- 0 étant le réglage magnétique minimum et 10 le réglage

magnétique maximum.

CONTROL MAGNÉTICO DE LANZADO EASY MAG

El control magnético de lanzado EASY MAG está diseñado

para reducir contragolpes de bobina. La primera vez que

utilice el carrete, el control magnético de la bobina deberá

ser colocado en su punto medio y ser ajustado en cualquier

momento durante su uso. El control está calibrado

numéricamente, siendo 10 su posición máxima.
