I have to change the oil on my scheppach 650. Does anyone know what kind of oil I should use or can I use regular hydraulic oil?

I got the device in question to be repaired from a neighbor where the machine had stopped working. I measured the current coming from the push button, which goes to the motor (current 230 volts) and the line currents from the motor to the capacitor (about 3.5 volts). The capacitor is new but where is the fault when no life is generated. pp. 0400210363 [email protected]

sick stuff, it can be seen that the question has been raised about where to put the oil, but no, I don't see any concrete answer, are you hiding with the hidden clicks?

I just got a SCEPPACH HL 650 splitter. I have never come across such a lousy manual before. Right at the beginning it is said that I bought a wet sander, the assembly instructions for the stand are really incomplete, some screws need to be loosened a few turns, nothing can be seen to loosen, otherwise the whole manual is unprecedentedly miserable [email protected]

Have had this splitter for several years. Now I was going to use it, it started fine, but after a while it was abruptly stopped. No sign of life. Anyone have a suggested solution?

Hello, I ordered a HL650 log splitter today. Question: does the end ventilation screw always remain open and is only closed for transport? that's not in the instructions! Greetings Sigg

Before starting work, the breather screw (12) must be loosened a few turns to ensure air circulation in the oil tank. If it remains tightened while working, the hydraulic movement leads to overpressure which can damage your scheppach machine! Before transporting the device, this screw must be screwed on tightly to prevent oil leakage. In short: yes, can remain open.

I bought the scheppach 760hl wood splitter. Apparently it works normally well. But there is a doubt. When I operate the starter, even without a load, about 20cm from the blade a clicking sound is heard and the advancement is deactivated. It's normal? Especially with olive tree trunks, it is necessary that the split is complete so that the logs are separated, because the wood is very difficult. I am forced to repeat the operation each time by adding a piece of wood of adequate thickness behind the trunk.

Happened to me too. Found out it was left oil. After I applied more oil, the problems were solved.

I have a problem: On the wrist side, there is a disc which is held in place by a screw. I lost this screw, so this disc is no longer fixed!!! What is this disc for? Thank you in advance for your response. Cheers
