ROBENS AIRBED
UK · Inflate a Robens airbed with Peak valve
The airbed can be inated by mouth by breathing air into the valve – but we recommend the use of a Robens Pump Sack
for easy and quick ination of the airbed. By using the Pump Sack the airbed is inated without introducing humidity.
1. Open the valve on the airbed and attach the nozzle of the Pump Sack to the valve.
2. Open the Pump Sack to ll it with air. Close the opening of the Pump Sack and roll/press down on the Pump Sack to pump air
into the airbed. Repeat this until the airbed is inated. Remove the Pump Sack nozzle from the valve and close the valve.
3. Deate the airbed. Open the valve and use a nger to push down the peak valve to release the air from the airbed.
Roll up the airbed and pack it in the carrybag.
Instructions for mat repair
1. To locate a small puncture, inate the mattress and blow some air by mouth
into the mattress, then close the valve (rst push in the valve and then lock it).
2. Apply any liquid soap to wet the surface of the mattress.
Small escaping bubbles will indicate the puncture.
3. Mark the puncture.
4. Clean and dry the surface around the puncture.
5. Open the valve and release the air. Remove the cover from the patch.
Press the patch so it covers the cut or tear.
6. Two hours later, inate the mattress and examine the repair.

My air bed deflates slowly over time, but does not appear to leak. Why is that? Verified

Differences in temperature are a common cause for an air bed to fel softer. Hot air expands and old air contracts. When an air bed is is filled with warm air in the day and it cools down in the night, the air bed will feel softer. Other causes are a defective valve or old material that has become porous. In the latter case the air bed needs replacing. Contact the manufacturer in the case of a defective valve.
