EN Additional Support
In extreme weather it may be necessary to strengthen your tent with internal
and external tension lines (see steps 10 and 11.) If you intend to use your tent
in extremely harsh weather you may wish to purchase larger diameter external
tension lines. The provided tension lines will work well in all conditions for internal
tensioning. The tent can also be strengthened by staking down the inner perimeter
skirt and by placing heavy objects on the snow  aps at the exterior perimeter. In
heavy snow conditions it is advisable to periodically remove snow load from the top
of the tent.

En condiciones meteorológicas extremas puede ser necesario reforzar la sujeción
de la tienda con tensores internos y externos (ver pasos 10 y 11). Si tienes pensado
utilizar la tienda en condiciones meteorológicas extremadamente severas, te
recomendamos que adquieras tensores externos de mayor diámetro. Los tensores
incluidos son aptos para ajustar la tensión interna en cualquier condición. La tienda
también se puede reforzar recogiendo el faldón del perímetro interno y colocando
objetos pesados en las solapas para la nieve en el perímetro exterior. En condiciones
de nevadas fuertes, es recomendable retirar periódicamente la nieve que se acumule
en la parte superior de la tienda.

En cas de conditions météorologiques extrêmes, il peut être nécessaire de renforcer
votre tente avec des câbles de tension (cf. étapes 10 et 11). Si vous plani ez
d’utiliser votre tente par temps extrême, il est conseillé d’acheter des câbles de
tension externes de diamètre supérieur. Les câbles de tension fournis sont adaptés
à toutes les conditions météo pour un usage interne. La tente peut également être
renforcée en plantant la jupe interne sur tout le périmètre et en déposant des objets
lourds sur les rabats anti-neige à l’extérieur du périmètre. En cas de forte neige, il
est conseillé de dégager régulièrement le sommet de la tente.

Bei schwierigem Wetter kann es erforderlich sein, Ihr Zelt mit Abspannleinen im

verstärkt werden, indem Sie die umgehende Einfassung im Inneren abspannen und
schwere Gegenstände auf die Schneeklappen der Einfassung außen legen. Bei
starken Schneefällen sollten Sie den Schnee regelmäßig vom Zeltdach entfernen.

In condizioni meteo estreme può essere necessario ra orzare la tenda con tiranti
interni ed esterni (consultate i passaggi 10 e 11). Se pensate di utilizzare la tenda
in condizioni meteo estremamente dure, è consigliabile acquistare tiranti esterni
di diametro maggiore. I tiranti forniti funzioneranno in modo ottimale in tutte le
condizioni che richiedono un sistema di tensionamento interno. La tenda può essere
ra orzata anche picchettando il bordo perimetrale interno e posizionando oggetti
pesanti sui risvolti antineve del perimetro esterno. In condizioni di neve intensa, è
opportuno rimuovere periodicamente l’accumulo di neve dalla parte superiore della
tenda.

EN (Applies for step 2 & 3) Engage clips from top/center of tent to bottom edge of
window only. Do not engage any of the lower clips until the tent is erected.

Can I store my tent when it's wet? Verified

Only for very short periods of time. When a tent is stored while wet for a week or longer, it can get moldy. This is harmful for your tent and possibly your health.

How do I impregnate a tent? Verified

Pitch the tent, clean the cloth and let it dry. Apply the impregnation agent on the cloth with a plant sprayer or other spray. It is also possible to use a paint roller or brush. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent. Also treat the inside of the tent. Thoroughly clean any windows with a moist cloth. Do not let the impregnation agent dry on it. Let the tent cloth fully dry. Repeat the treatment if needed.

Can I repair a tear or hole in the canvas of my tent myself? Verified

There are special pieces of self-adhesive patches of cloth available for synthetic tent canvases. Stick one of these patches on both sides of the hole or tear. For cotton tent canvases or mixed material tent canvases it's best to use patches that can be ironed on. This will require an iron.

The zipper of my tent won't run smoothly, what can I do? Verified

When a zipper is running smoothly, use a dry PTFE spray or silicone spray. Do not spray onto the cloth and preventively spray to prevent future problems.

No, this is probably condensation. Make sure the tent is properly ventilated to keep condensation at a minimum.

What tent pegs are best to use for which surfaces? Verified

On grassland or forest surfaces you can use semi circular or plastic pegs. On rocky surfaces you need to use rock pegs. On clay surfaces you can use semi circular, plastic or universal pegs. On gravel surfaces you need semi circular or universal pegs and on sand you need to use wooden pegs.

The impregnation agent leaves white stains or a white haze on the tent cloth, what can I do about this? Verified

If the agent leaves a white haze or white stains on the tent cloth, this means you have applied more impregnation agent on those areas. This is not harmful and the stains often disappear over time. It is not advisable to use less impregnation agent to prevent stains. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent to give good results.
