Digital Pacifier Thermometer
with Musical Fever Alarm
WARNING
This unit is NOT intended for use as a custom pacifier or teething instrument. The child
should be supervised at ALL times while using this product. After monitoring the
temperature, the unit should be removed from the child immediately. DO NOT attach ANY
pacifier to a child with pins, ribbons or string. Injury or strangulation could occur.
Instructions
1. Before each use, wash the unit with mild soap and warm water, rinse well and inspect
thoroughly. Do not use boiling water or harsh chemicals to clean this unit. This unit is
NOT dishwasher safe. Discontinue use if the nipple shows signs of damage or wear.
2. Press the power button to activate the unit. The unit will perform a self-test and the
display window will show 188.8˚C for approximately two seconds to indicate the unit is
working properly. The previous temperature reading will then be displayed for
approximately three seconds.
3. Place the pacifier nipple in the child’s mouth. The unit will display L˚C until it measures a
32.2˚C temperature. Temperatures above 32.2˚C will register on the display and ˚C will
continue to flash until the measurement is complete.
4. The unit will sound a “beep beep” when the measurement is complete.
5. If the child’s temperature is above 37.7˚C, the “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” lullaby will
play to soothe the child and indicate a fever.
6. If you wish to monitor any fluctuations in temperature readings, keep the pacifier
thermometer in the child’s mouth for additional readings at approximately five minute
intervals.
7. To prolong the life of the unit, turn the unit off by pressing the power button. Wash the
unit and store with the cover intact. Keep from direct sunlight.
8. The display will flash
= if the battery is low. To maintain the life of the battery, this unit
features an automatic shut-off function that activates after approximately 30 minutes of
operation. This Digital Pacifier Thermometer is a sealed unit and must be replaced when
the battery becomes low.

This MABIS Digital Thermometer is guaranteed to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of one
year from the date of purchase under normal use. This warranty applies to the original registered
purchaser only. All repairs on your MABIS Digital Thermometer should be sent prepaid to: MABIS
Healthcare, Attn: Repair Department, 1931 Norman Drive South, Waukegan, IL 60085. MABIS Healthcare
shall incur no liability under this warranty for any damage from any cause other than inherent
manufacturing defects. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS
ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS
WARRANTY. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY
LIABILITY
FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow limitation on
how long an implied warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusion or imitation of incidental or consequential
damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
