Hello, I have a kenwood dishwasher KDW60x20 and it has started beeping during a cycle. The lights that flash up are the 1/2 load and then then 3h & 6h lights. This error is not in the manual

Mine is also doing this. I can’t find out anywhere what the problem is. Tried 4x and same things happens. Looks like the plates are clean but the water hasn’t drained away?? Anyway figured if out?

Hi, I was having the same problem too. Tried unplugging and plugging in again, tried removing the spray arms to check it wasn't a blockage with those, tried cleaning the first filter in the bottom...no fix. Eventually lifted out the metal filter and had a good feel around in the drain hole at the bottom...there was a rosemary stalk and a piece of cellophane type clear plastic wrap in there blocking the rather small outlet. Works like a dream now. Advice to everyone, check the drain sump!

As a follow up, each time the tablet door hasn't opened and released the tablet. When I turn the machine off and on again and resume it, it works fine.

Hi, recently bought the KDW60X20 and when I’m trying to set up rinse aid and salt settings it won’t go through all the different settings and only lights up P1, P2 or 1/2 one at a time, then goes onto 3h 6h and 9h. Bit worrying as tested water and have high le content so need to get this set up accordingly.

Re: rinse aid and salt settings. I had the same issue. But here is what I think. Rinse aid has 5 settings and salt has 6 settings. Indicator lights will light up differently to what manual says but it matches the number of different settings for rinse aid and for salt. So 5 settings for rinse aid: 1=P1+9h, 2=P2+9h, 3=1/2+9h, 4=3h+9h and 5= 6h+9h. For salt: 1=P1+9h, 2=P2+9h, 3=1/2+9h, 4=3h+9h, 5=6h+9h, 6=P1+3h+9h. This makes only sense to me. But I am not 100% sure. Seems working.

I had the same issue and found If you hold the P and timer button down at the same time the salt ‘S’ settings will show. You can cycle through them using P to increase and timer to decrease the setting number. The manual needs correcting.

Hi. Turns out the manual is correct but what it omits to say is that you have to press and hold the prog button really quickly after switching on - before the ‘on peeps’ finish to get into the salt/rinse aid options.

Hi, the engineer who came to us to look at this problem said it was the book that was wrong. He went through the sequencing and said that he had set salt and rinse aid to our requirements (4 and 4). So if anything goes wrong it will be down to them!! Glad I’ve got 5 year guarantee!

Hello, I am having issues with my dishwasher as it starts it works for 2/3 minutes and then stops and beeps twice the only showing lights are the 3 hour light and the 6 hour light there is nothing in the manual that explains this issue

I like the streamlined design and look of this product.. However on P21 in the manual re "Adding Salt", Instruction 5 says "run the rinse programme P5" but P5 does not exist as a button so how do I select P5? P5 is written above P1 and P2 bracketing them. Does that mean that if I push both these buttons I am selecting P5? Can I have a clear explanation please Kenwood! Its Clear as Mud!! You need to add a rinse button in future..we're not all computer programmers! Thanks Sarah

As per above if you have the 1/2 3h and 6h light flashing it means there is a blockage for the dirty water outlet. at the bottom of the dishwasher, unscrew the drain (should be in two pieces) and remove the 1/2 metal grid. Now at the very bottom you will see where the water drains out and on the bottom left there is two small rectangular holes, these are the ones blocking and causing the issue. Make sure all debris is removes from there and that those holes are clear and the re-assemble.

I also have the kenwood dishwasher kdw20x60. Same issue , close the door to start the cycle, drain pump runs as it should for about 30 second to get rid of any dirty water then it starts to double beep and the 1/2 load, 3h , 6h lights come on. I've checked and double checked all the drain hoses and drain pump but still doing the same. Has anyone found a fix for this? Cheers in advance.

This dishwasher is impossible to use! The user manual is also wrong, instructions for setting the salt and rinse aid levels for KDW60X20 are incorrect and the table of settings in the manual doesn't match what is displayed on the dishwasher. 2 days of constant beeps and button pushing later and the we're still yet to get any clean dishes out of this thing.

I had the same problem with my dishwasher, p1 p2 6 hrs flashing after 30 minutes maybe. I managed to fix it. After u start your dishwashers press your delay button, once u select 3 hrs, twice 6 hrs , third time 9hrs, fourth time will be no lights. After this select your programme and you are good to go.
