Most dishwashers are equipped with a water stop, making the program stop immediately when the door is opened and meaning no water will come out. With some models this can cause problems over time. Should I open the dishwasher after it finished running to have the dishes dry quicker? Verified

This depends on the type of dishwasher and the location of the dishwasher. Some dishwashers are equipped with a feature that dries the dishes after the washing program. After the dishwaser has finished its cycle, the plastic dishes are still wet but the rest isn't. Why is that? Verified

Plastic is a bad conductor of heat, allowing the products to cool down quickly. The moisture that remains on it then evaporates far less than for example on ceramics or metal.

This dishlex 6216X dish washer was purchased in 2016 and was only used for about 6 months in total. When I try to use it I cannot get a short cycle wash and it goes on for about 2hours and still the plates are not washed nor is the tablet dissolved. Overall I am not happy with the product. I would have returned it if it was within the gurantee period. What do you suggest that I do to get it back to a short wash cycle?

We have a Dishlex DSF 6216X Dishwasher. The program panel lights are showing up on switching on. Plumbing appears to be in tact. This machine is a few years old, but it worked well so far. Cannot get the program starting. We have reset the program panel and carried out other instructions as per Op Manual. When switched on, the dishwasher puffs some air (inside) and then the light turns on "ECO" and Delay shows ",40" and stays like that indefinitely. What should we do now? Kind regards.

Where do I locate the controls for my dishwasher. When the power is switched on , how do I know how long it takes. The other day it automatically switched on to ECO and took over an hour. I don't have a manual.
