When I switch on my machine and set it to wash normal,it sets at 29 mins and fills up and washes once then spins dry and its done. No rising and it does not use the fabric softener. How can I reset it to wash longer and rinse

Hi. I have got a defy dtl149. When i press the power button it automatically set to tub clean. It is supposed to show on normal and on 70min. When i press to select on normal it shows the remaining time very low as from factory set. Please help to correct this problem.
