SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove contents from stu sack. Spread tent body out on ground.
2. Stake out the corners of the tent body.
3. Assemble the three poles: two long silver poles and one short silver crossover
pole. Be careful to insert each pole section by hand instead of allowing the
shock cord to snap them together to ensure each pole section is fully seated.
4. Run the two long body poles diagonally across the tent body crossing at the
center. Insert the pole tips into the grommets at the four corners of the tent.
5. Attach all plastic clips on the tent body to the poles.
6. Insert the tips of the cross-over pole into the webbing pockets, located above
the doors on each side of the tent.
7. Drape the rainy over the tent body aligning the lime and dark green webbing
on the y to the lime and dark green webbing on the tent body.
8. Make sure the webbing located at the corners of the rainy is completely slack-
ened. Attach the buckles on the rainy to those on the tent body.
9. Stake out the vestibules.
10. Evenly tension the webbing on each corner as needed to keep the rainy taut.
11. Stake out all guy-lines.
FAST FLY SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
If you purchase the optional Big Agnes footprint for your Tumble tent, it will enable
you to pitch a shelter while leaving the tent body behind. The Fast Fly conguration
requires the footprint, rainy, poles and stakes.
1. Lay the footprint on the ground and stake out.
2. Assemble the two poles: two silver poles and one short silver crossover pole.
Be careful to insert each pole section by hand instead of allowing the shock
cord to snap them together to ensure each pole section is fully seated.
3. Insert the pole tips of the longer poles into the grommets at the corners of the
footprint.
4. Drape the rainy over the poles aligning the lime and dark green webbing on
the y to the lime and dark green webbing on the footprint.
5. Ax the Velcro loops on the underside of the y around the corresponding poles.
6. Thread the shorter pole across the top of where the longer poles cross and place
the ends of the pole in the webbing pockets above the doors.
7. Make sure the webbing at the corners of the rainy is completely slackened.
Attach the buckles on the rainy to those on the footprint.
8. Stake out the vestibules.
9. Evenly tension the webbing on each corner as needed to keep the rainy taut.
10. Stake out all guy-lines.

Can I store my tent when it's wet? Verified

Only for very short periods of time. When a tent is stored while wet for a week or longer, it can get moldy. This is harmful for your tent and possibly your health.

How do I impregnate a tent? Verified

Pitch the tent, clean the cloth and let it dry. Apply the impregnation agent on the cloth with a plant sprayer or other spray. It is also possible to use a paint roller or brush. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent. Also treat the inside of the tent. Thoroughly clean any windows with a moist cloth. Do not let the impregnation agent dry on it. Let the tent cloth fully dry. Repeat the treatment if needed.

Can I repair a tear or hole in the canvas of my tent myself? Verified

There are special pieces of self-adhesive patches of cloth available for synthetic tent canvases. Stick one of these patches on both sides of the hole or tear. For cotton tent canvases or mixed material tent canvases it's best to use patches that can be ironed on. This will require an iron.

When a zipper is running smoothly, use a dry PTFE spray or silicone spray. Do not spray onto the cloth and preventively spray to prevent future problems.

On grassland or forest surfaces you can use semi circular or plastic pegs. On rocky surfaces you need to use rock pegs. On clay surfaces you can use semi circular, plastic or universal pegs. On gravel surfaces you need semi circular or universal pegs and on sand you need to use wooden pegs.

The impregnation agent leaves white stains or a white haze on the tent cloth, what can I do about this? Verified

If the agent leaves a white haze or white stains on the tent cloth, this means you have applied more impregnation agent on those areas. This is not harmful and the stains often disappear over time. It is not advisable to use less impregnation agent to prevent stains. The cloth needs to be fully saturated with the impregnation agent to give good results.
